Oversee and direct Lease Operators and/or Well Tenders in the maintenance and production activities of existing wells. Monitors production in assigned areas and works to optimize production in a safe, cost-effective manner.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
Personnel Duties

Supervise, schedule, and coordinate daily activities of subordinates and contract personnel.
Train subordinates on safely working with and around all surface production equipment.
Ensure employees are adhering to all applicable company policies. Coordinate with superintendent in recruitment and selection of new employees.
Work with EH&S Representatives to investigate and complete incident and accident reports.
Inspect employee's vehicles and ensure they are maintained and in good working condition.
Production Duties:

Monitor and review daily gas production and weekly oil inventory.
Complete daily report for new wells and existing problem wells.
Evaluate problem wells, discuss enhancements, complete AFE request, and carry out enhancement.
Implement new technologies for production enhancement.
Ensure Regulatory requirements are maintained.
Supervise workover operations.
Minimize cost by utilizing sound engineering practices, project planning, and the standard 3 bid process.
Design and operate locations, lease roads, and equipment at or above established Chesapeake standards.
Ensure all new wells are ready for production including: tank batteries, corrosion protection, necessary personnel, rental equipment, etc.
Review, correct, and sign process (Workflow) invoices. Maintain a safe and environmentally friendly work place for staff and contractors.
Attend production, completion, and safety meetings.
Perform duties in accordance with all Chesapeake policies and guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts.
Demonstrate basic computer knowledge through effective use of a personal computer including Microsoft Office applications. Able to learn company specific applications.
Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to build productive relationships.
General knowledge of Safety and Environmental issues.
Overall understanding of surface production facilities and operations.
Broad knowledge of cased hole operations.
General knowledge of surface and downhole artificial lift equipment applied to a particular district, including plunger equipment and associated slickline tools.
Demonstrated problem solving ability applicable to well operations, logistics, sourcing, and safety.
Preferred:
Demonstrate a high degree of computer knowledge through effective use of a personal computer including Microsoft Office applications. Proficient in company specific applications.
Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to build productive relationships.
Complete knowledge of surface production facilities and operations, including compression (flash & VRU ops), SWD ops, oil & gas gathering/sales facilities and meters, chemical treating, CDP's, H2S ops, etc.
Comprehensive knowledge of COI EH&S Policies and local, State, & Federal Regulations regarding air emissions, spills, SPCC, Emergency Response, etc.
Thorough knowledge of cased hole operations pertaining to production.
Education and Work Experience required:
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Five years field experience in the oil and gas industry. College degree (MET or other) may account for one to four years of experience.
Preferred:
Previous supervisory or management experience.
Vocational training in general maintenance, oil and gas production, or relevant field.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
